Apart from her inspiring work as a Chemistry teacher and Science Department Head at Merit Preparatory Academy, Xanthe Hardy also loves to share her talents with the local community. She has taught pottery classes at UVU for the Community Education program for the past 17 years. Over that period, she has taught more than 1000 students. She was recently honored with the UVU Community Education Youth Instructor of the Year award for 2022. Merit congratulates her and expresses gratitude for the many ways that Xanthe inspires the youth of our community on our campus and beyond!
