Tamera Rameson Teacher of the Year


Tamera Rameson has been honored as this year’s Merit Teacher of the Year, and it’s easy to see why. Tamera goes above and beyond in her commitment to her students, not only excelling in teaching math but also providing holistic support to ensure their overall success. She takes the time to get to know each student personally, working with them individually to address their academic and personal needs. Tamera’s dedication extends far beyond the classroom. She is often seen staying late to help students, offering her time during lunch and planning periods to ensure they receive the assistance they need. Jackie Child Support Staff of the Year


We are delighted to recognize Jackie Child as the Merit Support Staff of the Year, a true embodiment of the spirit of Merit Preparatory Academy. Jackie’s contributions often happen behind the scenes, but her impact is profound and far-reaching. She consistently goes above and beyond in her support for both her team and her students, displaying boundless love and dedication every day. Jackie is renowned for her ability to connect with students, particularly those with special needs, showing them unwavering love and acceptance.
