As part of our Quest Time mentoring program, Merit organizes activities each Friday that focus on our mission: leadership, learning, and service. On January 6, 2023, Mayor Packard was our guest for a leadership training. He spoke to our students about how they can be leaders right now and the value of service in their lives, proving practical examples from his own life experiences. Our students then engaged in an open discussion with Mayor Packer, where they asked him questions and received valuable advise about their education and future work.
All of you have the opportunity in your life to be able to be leaders. Everyone of you do. You may saw, "I don't want to be mayor," or "I don't want to be a leader of this or a leader of that." You're a leader by what you do and what you say!
