Front Office Secretary
Kathleen was born in New Jersey which explains her no-nonsense approach to life. Her educational background is diverse and has come in handy in her business and personal endeavors. She has an AAS degree in Early Childhood Education and her former preschool students, the “Busy Bees”, kept Miss Kathleen buzzing. Her BA degree in Home, Family, and Social Sciences (with minors in Psychology and Sociology) from BYU proved useful while raising her 2 children, serving on PTA Boards, and serving as the Family Support Liaison for the Utah Army National Guard. Kathleen earned her AAS degree in American Sign Language Interpreting while living in Austin, TX. She worked for high-profile elderly Deaf clients suffering from Alzheimer’s and Dementia. She also volunteered as a Support Service Provider for Deaf-Blind individuals.
Kathleen has a professional background as an office administrator in small businesses, Executive Assistant for local sculptor Gary Lee Price, staffing consultant for an employment agency, social media manager, project manager, and event coordinator for a global brand. Her strengths include organizing, thinking outside the box, and win-win solutions.
In her free time, Kathleen enjoys all things creative. Art has been a thread that has woven itself into the tapestry of her life since she was a child. She studied Commercial Art in high school and for several years worked as Supervisor in the Parks and Recreation Dept. in her hometown, overseeing the Art Program for children. In college she worked as an Art Director for special events. Kathleen now teaches emotional wellness workshops called Feel to Heal; using art as therapy. Her side-hustles are face painting, ASL tutoring, and Oracle Card reading. Her hobbies include mixed-media art journaling, baking, movies, hanging out with her dog, and canyon campfires with friends.
