About Us

Our Vision

Merit's Foundational Skills and Attitudes

Strive for EXCELLENCE

Striving for excellence is trying to do your best. In your role as a student, it is important that you do your best to produce excellent work. This will increase your confidence and self esteem, as well as result in praise, good grades, and other benefits.

At Merit Academy we support and encourage along the way to help you reach your full potential.

Inspire INNOVATION

According to Harvard Business Review, Inspiring Innovation is a challenge among business executives. We feel this also applies to schools. In larger schools. where there is a higher population of students, innovation is harder to support and encourage.

Merit Academy has a “small town” feel with more one-on-one coaching with mentors and greater opportunity for creativity and innovation.

Acknowledge ACHIEVEMENT

We all need to be celebrated and acknowledged for our efforts. Teenage years are tough and our kids need more support than ever.

Merit Academy is constantly developing new ways to celebrate our students successes to show them they are a valued member of our school.

We believe in results!

Merit Employee’s use project- based learning and other evidence-based instructional strategies to help us meet our mission and vision. We have a strong culture of professional development and openly work to take our teaching and mentoring to new levels.
